Q:  How much fishing experience do I need?  None, Captain Phil and his Mate escort all tours personally, and will be sure to train you in the proper techniques needed to reel in your own catch before you arrive at the fishing grounds.  By day's end you'll feel like a pro.

Q:  How many people can can we bring?  Along with her crew, the "Lady J", can accommodate parties of up to 6 individuals.

Q:  How far do you travel off shore?  It depends where the fish are that day.  It could range from 1/4 of a mile - 16 miles.
 
Q:  What times do the trips leave?  I prefer to leaave at 6 A,M or 7 A.M. for my morning trips and at Noon or 1 P.M. for my afternoon trips.

Q:  How long is the fishing season?  Chartered sportfishing trips aboard the "Lady J" depart from Barnsatable Harbor From May thru 2nd week of October.

Q:  Is there a washroom on board?  Yes, we have a washroom with a flush toilet.

Q:  Do you have life jackets on board?  Yes and all safety equipment required.

Q:  How can bad weather affect our trip?  It is at the Capt. discretion as to wether or not the trip is to be cancelled.  If he cancels you can either have your deposit back or you can reschedule.

Q:  Is Motion sickness a problem?  It depends on the person, but usually not.  If you  know you get car sick or air sick you may want to think about taking something before your trip

Q:  Do we need to bring any tackle or equipment?  No.  You may bring your own tackle on your trip if you wish, bit it is not necessary.  All bait and tackle needed will be provided.  Check out our What to Bring page for ideas on what you might want to bring.
