Rates & Reservations

Rates include bait and tackle for your fishing trip, and assistance from the Captain, and the vessel’s Mate. Lessons, if needed, are included, and conducted on the way out to the fishing grounds on the day of your charter. Your party will be versed on the proper use of all equipment that will be used during the trip, as well as the types of fish that may be encountered. You may use the equipment provided or bring your own if you wish.
Passengers are responsible for their own food and beverage for the trip. Our captain devotes himself to the enjoyment of his guests and the sport of fishing charters Cape Cod. Use of drugs or consumption of hard liquor is not tolerable while on the, “Lady J”, and the same is respectfully forbidden from being brought aboard. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are permissible.

It is customary to tip the Mate at a rate of 15 – 20% of the cost of the trip at the conclusion of your charter.

Tackle Methods

You may bring your own tackle on your trip if you wish, but it is not necessary. All bait and tackle needed will be provided. Captain Phil prides himself on the quality of all equipment on the, “Lady J”. All rods are custom made, and equipped with, “Penn”, reels. All light tackle on board is also of finest quality.

​You may choose from many different types of fishing methods. Trolling, spin casting, tube and worm, and jigging are favorites. It is best to discuss your preference with Captain Phil when making your reservation, or in advance of your departure.
